Sorry, I think I have to get my nails done

Cher is in town tonight??

Her latest incarnation began with 1999's throbbing Believe, which became the biggest hit in a career that already spans four decades.

Luckily for fans, all those eras will be touched on in Monday's show at America West Arena. The set list dips into all her musical phases, from folkie princess to techno queen.

Also expect a video presentation that reflects her film and TV career, plus an army of dancers. There's even some puppet work to help create a Middle Eastern theme during We All Sleep Alone.

It sounds grandly over-the-top, campy and slightly outrageous - just like the lady herself. In all, it should be a fitting way to say goodbye.

Indeed. Be still, my foolish heart....
