Bud Selig may be the most (legitimately) despised man in baseball, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a lot to say. Of course, whether anyone wants to hear it or not is a different story altogether.
Selig does have some interesting stories, and is clearly a student of the game of baseball. Not only that, he actually sold New York Yankees manager Joe Torre his first car. I would imagine that, in a different context, Selig would be an interesting person to get to know. As the commissioner of baseball, however, Selig has shown a surprisingly lack of PR sense. It's almost as if the man seems destined to portray the game in the worst possible like, however unwittingly.
In spite of his best efforts to the contrary, baseball may be able to avoid a strike. It makes you wonder what Selig has up his sleeve for his next trick. Let's just hope the game can survive his ineptitude.
