George Washington actually grew up near Austin and one day his father asked, "Son, did you chop down our pecan tree?"
"Yes Father, I cannot tell a lie. I chopped down our pecan tree."
"Well if you can't tell a lie, Son, you'll never make it in Texas. We're moving to Virginia!"
