We got the wrong Bush!

So I'm at the gym yeserday morning, and I'm behind held captive on one of the exercise machines by the doyenne of "Good Morning America", Diane Sawyer. Normally, I can ignore Diane as she drones on ad nauseum about the charms of recipes or cleaning solutions or what ever else happens to dominate that morning's agenda. Yesterday was quite a bit different, though. Sawyer was interviewing Neil Bush (Shrub's brother), who is the father of a teenager that had been misdiagnosed with ADD. That fact is fascinating in and of itself, but I'll leave that for another time.

This was the first time I've heard Neil Bush speak, and I was astounded at how well-spoken, articulate, and composed he is. The man is thoughtful, intelligent, and can actually navigate the English language, unlike the rest of the men in the Bush clan. Frankly, I'm wondering why Neil never ran for office. Here's a man who can actually answer a question or state a point in plainspoken, non-mangled English. As an added bonus, he seems intelligent enough to stay away from politics- probably a good move on his part.

Neil managed to overcome dyslexia to become a reasonably successful businessman. Of course, I know nor care little about his politics, because he's not a politician. I was impressed, though, that someone who comes from a family famous for mangulating the language can be as articulate as Neil Bush. Too bad we're stuck with Jeb and Shrub.
