Sanchez backers blast new ad by Perry as 'racist' and 'sleazy'
Five days until Election Day....
Now I'm really bummed. I can't buy a vote, but Walter Mondale jumps into the race to replace Paul Wellstone, and he immediately has an eight-percentage-point lead over Republican Norm Coleman. Perhaps I should take a page from Rick Perry's book:
"When I see two Hispanic DEA agents standing up and making clear statements about choices, about making right decisions, I will suggest to you that the vast majority of the Hispanic population of Texas wants to see drugs stamped out in this state," the governor said.
"The Hispanic population is strong for law and order and they are for stopping drug trafficking in the state of Texas."
Well, duh, Rick.... People- of any color- against drug trafficking? What a novel concept. You know, there are issues out there that effect the people of Texas that neither Perry nor Sanchez are discussing. As soon as I can figure out what they are, I'll be talking about them.
