Woman goes for naked stroll to prove love for husband
Wouldn't making him a nice dinner and doing the horizontal mambo send the same message??
A Lisbon newspaper reports a 38-year-old woman has strolled through the streets wearing just her slippers in order to prove her love for her husband of two months.
With her clothed husband walking just a few steps behind her, Maria Manuela walked around the northern Portuguese town of Guarda until police stopped the couple and ordered them to return home.
"I proved to my husband that I will do anything for him. There are no doubts now about the love that unites us," Maria Manuela was quoted as saying by the daily Correio da Manha.
Antonio Correia de Almeida, 39, said he asked his wife to prove her love by walking naked in public on October 6 because he "started to think weird things and doubt my wife."
"If she were to ask me to walk around naked, I would accept immediately," he added.
Police said they did not press charges because no one in the town of 44,000 came forward to file a complaint against the woman.
Of course not; they were all following her around....
