Taking it in the shorts, Chapter One

Bledsoe leads another Bills comeback over Texans

Once again, using several stupid penalties to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....

During the Texans' Opening Day 19-10 win over the evil, blood-sucking Dallas Cowboys, a fan at Reliant Stadium held up a sign that said simply, "1-15 IS ALL RIGHT- JUST WIN THIS ONE!" It's beginning to look as if that sentiment may become reality, especially after watching stupid penalties hand Buffalo a 31-24 victory. Wasting one of their best offensive performances of the young season, the Texans defense consistently hurt it's own cause with one dumb penalty after another. In the end, the Texans literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Moral victories may not count in the standings, but that may be the best Texans fans can reasonably hope for this season....

Meanwhile, my Minnesota Vikings finally got themselves off the schneid by beating the equally woefully Detroit Lions 31-24.

Yippee! Now we won't be 0-16!!
