Congratulations to Joe Katzman for setting an example that all of us would do well to follow. He's decided that, for the month of October, he will leave the more mundane concerns (war, famine, pestilience) of the world behind to focus on something that is truly Americana- playoff baseball. Play ball, y'all!!
(Of course, he DID overlook the fact that hockey begins this Wednesday, but I'm sure he'll make up for it somehow....)
I'm from Canada. Hockey isn't sport, it's religion. Ron MacLean and Don Cherry will be reunited as hosts of Hockey Night in Canada, and all is right with the world.
