The Twins, who until yesterday had an 11-1 home record in the playoffs, now find themselves on the brink of elimination. Down 2-1 to Oakland, they must beat the A's this afternoon in the Metrodome in order to force Game 5 in Oakland.
Whatever happens today, you have to admit that this has been a hell of a year for the young Twins. This is a team that Satan had all but contracted. The team that wasn't even supposed to be here IS here, and doing quite well, thank you.
