Not being able to insure a home means not being able to buy a home. That might just be the reality facing many Texans looking to buy a home if the current trend continues. Molly Ivins points out that the current insurance crisis is the result of several factors, most of them stemming from politicians looking out for their own political futures. Governor Goodhair, in particular, has much to answer for- not that he ever will, of course. That's the beautiful thing about being a politician- never having to say that you're sorry. That would require leadership and courage....
