And this, kids, is why it's called "Jackass"

Teen Burns Himself Copying "Jackass" Stunt

Attempting to prove that natural selection really does work, a 15-year-old Washington state boy has apparently gone above and beyond the call of duty. Trying to re-enact a stunt from MTV's "Jackass" TV show, the boy doused his shirt with rubbing alcohol and then put a match to it while his friends stood by with a video camera. Somehow, these Ph.D. candidates thought they would be able to sell the tape to other knuckle-draggers.

Well, things didn't quite go according to plan, and the boy suffered first-degree burns over his face and upper body. I loved the statement released by the polce: "The stunt obviously went very wrong". Duh....

This is what happens when stupid people try stupid things. Thankfully, at least no one was hurt except for the inDUHvidual who attempted the half-assed stunt. Now all we have to do is wait for the lawsuit that will inevitably be filed against MTV....

The "Jackass" show depicting outrageous and dangerous stunts by paid actors aired on Viacom Inc.'s youth-oriented MTV in 2000 and 2001 and then was canceled. But a movie version opened in theaters three weeks ago and has raked in $53.3 million at the box office.

The movie includes the following disclaimer: "The stunts in this movie were performed by professionals, so, neither you nor your dumb buddies should attempt anything from this movie."

"We're sorry when anybody gets hurt; however, nothing like this incident described ever aired on the show or in the movie," said an MTV spokeswoman.

In 2001, "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville donned a fireproof suit covered in steaks and was set on fire to become a human barbecue. A teen-ager who tried to duplicate the stunt was hospitalized with severe burns.

Translation: "We're sorry that some of our viewers are such half-witted dumbasses who seem incapable of protecting themselves from their own stupidity. We neither condone nor endorse trying these stunts on your own. If some knuckle-dragging inDUHviduals are bent on self-destruction, neither MTV nor "Jackass" should be held liable for that inDUHviduals lack of native intelligence."

YOU!! Out of the gene pool NOW!!!!
