Ventura rules out appointing Democrat to Senate
Jesse Ventura is living proof that Andy Warhol was right. Ventura's novelty act as Governor of Minnesota has worn thin, and though I no longer live there, I'm as tired of him as anyone else. His constant railing against politicians (though he IS one and has been for some time- he was a small-town mayor previously)and his self-righteous "populism" long ago lost any aura of credibility.
Now, after being offended by Sen. Paul Wellstone's memorial, he is threatening payback. Grow up, willya? Yes, I think most of us can understand why you are upset, but don't you think that you should be doing what is best for the people of Minnesota? This is not a game to be played by someone with the mentality of a teenager. You've registered your disgust and displeasure. Now get over it and do the job you were elected to do.
