Minnesota 31, Green Bay 21: Favre intercepted three times in loss
This is probably going to get me kicked off michele's Christmas card list, but I'm going to indulge in a bit of revelry here. I should begin by owning up to the fact that my parents, who live in southwestern Wisconsin, are HUGE Packer fans, and my dad even flies a Packer flag on a 40-foot pole in the front yard. All the more reason I'm going to enjoy today's upset- and I'll admit that it is certainly an upset. The Packers had the best record in the NFL, the Vikings the worst (save for Cincinnati, who, when it comes to suckage, are in a league of their own...).
Ah, who am I fooling? The Vikings are going nowhere, and the Packers will likely find themselves in San Diego on Super Bowl Sunday. The only way Randy Moss will get into the Super Bowl is if he has a ticket. Today's game means little in the overall scheme of a 16-game season. Still, it's something to hang my hat on. Maybe wearing my lucky Randy Moss jersey (yes, he's still a jackass) did it's trick. Or perhaps the planets were just aligned properly for this one.
Après cette victoire, nous revenons au suckage principal....
