Stoopid is as...ah, hell; why even bother??

Stoudamire, Wallace will have to appear in court

I have been a huge Portland Trailblazers fan since the early 80's. I lived in Portland for 15 years, and being that it's the only game in town, Portland tends to live and die with the Blazers. Over the past few years, though, the Blazers have been doing their best to alienate their fans. They've developed a (well-deserved) reputation as whiny, pampered, overpaid athletes who think that they were born on third and hit a triple.

On top of all of the other things that have happened, most of the Blazers have demonstrated a pronounced lack of native intelligence. How else do you explain this?

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers teammates Damon Stoudamire and Rasheed Wallace were cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession early Friday after their vehicle was stopped on the way home from a game in Seattle.

The players were passengers in the vehicle, which was stopped for speeding just after midnight near Centralia, Wash., midway between Seattle and Portland. The Trail Blazers defeated the SuperSonics 89-85 Thursday night.

"It's crazy,'' Wallace said in a hastily called news conference with Stoudamire Friday afternoon. "All I've got to say about it is, the truth will come to the light.''

Well, they aren't called the Jailblazers for nothing, eh?? The cumulative effect of all the idiocy is almost enough to turn me into a Rockets fan. Almost....

@&%$(^# morons....
