Maybe if we put some Prozac in the water....

I walked out into the front room this morning only to discover that our Christmas tree had tried to commit ritual suicide overnight. The tree stand we have used for the past few years was apparently not up to the tree's standards. Sometime during the middle of the night it fell on it's sword. Fortunately, the patient can be saved, but I'm wondering...what can be done when good Christmas trees go bad??
