Havlat's hat trick not enough for Senators
In your post-Super Bowl stupor, you may have missed this. The two best teams in the NHL, the Dallas Stars and Ottawa Senators, met in Dallas last night. It may be a preview of May's Stanley Cup Finals, but even if it wasn't, it was a hell of a hockey game. Dallas came from behind to win 5-3, in spite of Ottawa's Martin Havlat's third career hat trick.
OK, so the playoffs don't start for 2 1/2 months. Can you blame me for getting excited?
