Texas undeterred by Illinois' ripple effect
Well, let's not be silly. This is Texas- we KNOW how to execute people, and we don't mess around with frivolities like morals and ethics. If a jury finds someone guilty of capital murder, they're a dead man walking.
Of course, Texas has some of the same problems that plague the death penalty system in Illinois, but the death penalty is politically popular here. That means never having to say you're sorry- or take an honest look at the system.
