The newest member of the family?

It would appear that we have been adopted. Hey, just what we need- another cat!! We only have, what, four as it is?? What's one more??

Gandhi, the black (unneutered male) cat on the right, just appeared on our deck a few days ago, happy, friendly, and hungry. He acted as if he'd been there his whole life, and even our crabbiest, most territorial cats didn't put up a fuss. He's cute, friendly, and he's a world-class suck-up. I've never seen a cat just show up out of the blue and immediately insinuate himself so completely as a member of the family.

We may put up some signs around the neighborhood to see if anyone will claim him, but I'm secretly hoping that no one will. Some folks play foster parent to children. Me? I do it for cats. I'm a sucker for a pretty face....
