Yet another reason why I love "The Simpsons"

Reality Central Responds to TV's Reality Dearth

THIS is what the people have been demanding??

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - If television viewers have been saying anything for the past couple years, it's that there's just not enough reality TV. Bravely entering the void, Larry Namer, a cable veteran, and Blake Mycoskie, a reality television veteran, are planning a channel devoted entirely to reality programming.

Creatively named "Reality Central," the new channel should be ready for a launch next year. The proposed cable network has an extra bonus hook. Not only will its entire line-up be dedicated to unscripted television, but much of the network's seed money will come straight from the coffers of some of reality television's biggest winners....

Programming will be a mix of network reality reruns, imported international programs, and near-endless behind-the-scenes shows about the big games and their big stars....

"We know people have an unquenchable desire for these shows and to know more about the people on them," Mycoskie optimistically states.

Well, the good news (if you're not a writer, I suppose) is that at least they won't have to break the bank to pay scriptwriters....
