It's not about saving lives. It's not about babies. It's about control.

I suggested some time ago...that if we were really interested in "saving the babies," we'd work towards making unwanted pregnancies less common and provide more financial and community support for children. It's amazing how poorly recieved this was among people who were anti-choice. For many (not all) of them, it's more about controlling people's lives -- not really about saving babies.
