Yes, it would appear that we dodged a bullet here in southeast Texas. While the Louisiana coast was getting hammered by Tropical Storm Bill, we had a pretty typical hot, muggy, sunny afternoon. Yawn....
We got lucky this time. Of course, there is still another four months of hurricane season to get through. Having been through three tropical storms in my six years here, I'm in no hurry to see what a hurricane looks like.
