I'm beginning to notice a rather disturbing trend in some of the comments being left here of late. I've never had a problem with people disagreeing with me- hell, half the things I write are because I'm trying to provoke a reaction. I like dissenting viewpoints, and the vast majority of you disagree with me in the manner in which it should be done- respectfully. Thank you.
I'm growing tired of the trolls who view their disagreement with what I have to say as proof positive that I am a lesser being and worthy only of disdain and disrespect. If you don't like what I have to say, that's fine. Make your best argument and take your best shot. Why make it personal? Why stoop to insulting someone you don't even know? Why display your ignorance and intolerance for all to see?
I apologize to my readers who long ago figured out that I only have one rule- don't piss in my sandbox. To those of you who can disagree with me respectfully, you are always welcome here. To the growing number of trolls, please take your tired act somewhere else if you can't play nice. I don't need you, and more importantly, I don't want you.
