Unhealthy ozone in Seabrook, Baytown

This is just great. While I was off in Humble, risking my health playing golf in 102-degree temperatures, I could have stayed at home and accomplished the same thing simply by breathing deeply.

Unhealthy levels of ozone have been detected in the Seabrook and Baytown areas this afternoon.

The Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission has issued an "unhealthy for sensitive groups" warning for the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria Area.

This means active children and adults, as well as people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.

Apparently, some of the more unpleasant effects of ozone exposure include unexplained rage, blurred vision, spontaneous orgasms, and an inexplicable desire to root for the Green Bay Packers. Yikes....

Perhaps I would have been better off staying at home and taking a nap....
