Virginia Tech 35, Texas A&M 19: Virginia Tech KOs A&M; No. 8 Hokies too much for McNeal, Aggies
Imagine playing football in a carwash, and you might be close to what it looked like in Blacksburg, VA last night. Virginia Tech officials apparently didn't want to give up the TV money from a national ESPN broadcast, so they decided to go ahead with the game. In retrospect, it was a good decision. The weather was messy, but if you were watching on TV it looked like good clean fun. Once again, the Aggies were exposed as an overrated team with a soft defense. It ought to make for a long season in College Station.
