No more fence-sitting: TPRS endorses Wesley Clark

I've been considering my options for some time now, but have held off on endorsing a Democratic Presidential candidate because it just didn't feel like the right thing to do. That is no longer the case, and I am throwing the full faith and credit of TPRS behind Wesley Clark for President. Of course, that and $1.98 might get you a cold latte at Starbucks, but I sincerely believe that Wesley Clark has the experience, the vision, and the credibility needed to turn George W. Bush into the one-term President that his father was.

No, Clark is not a career politician, and he will make (and already has made) some rookie mistakes. Even so, he has a degree of credibility when it comes to Homeland Security that no other Democrat can touch (and neither can Bush). Clark is perhaps not quite a Liberal as I would prefer, but I am practical enough to realize that no one as Liberal as I am would have a snowball's chance in Hell of being elected. Clark may not have Liberal Democrats salivating, but at this point he is clearly the most electable candidate of any of the current collection of midgets (Although Howard Dean would make one hell of a Vice President).

I will be doing my best from my platform to see that Wesley Clark is our next President. Y'all are welcome to join me.

Can anyone reasonably claim to be surprised that the Bush White House would stoop this low? was the previous entry in this blog.

But he has certainly bought some wealthy support is the next entry in this blog.
