Toyota Center unveiled to the public
Les Alexander's new state-of-the-art playpen has opened, and except for some finishing touches, it's ready to go. I just hope the taxpayers of Harris County will thoroughly appreciate their new monument to athletic and fiscal excess. After all, enshrined in Toyota Center are the millions of tax dollars that could have been used for libraries, police and fire protection, senior centers, road improvements- in short all of the basic services that local government SHOULD be providing. So much for keeping our priorities straight, eh??
