Politics is 90% acting, anyway

Schwarzenegger Introduces Transition Team

Now the fun begins for Governor-elect Terminator- Schwarzenegger. There is quite a difference between being a candidate and actually governing the largest state in the Union. It's going to be interesting to see what the polls say about Schwarzenegger, oh, about a year from now.

In the meantime, can we forget all of the crap about Schwarzenegger being an actor-turned-politician? There is nothing new or particularly unusual about this phenomenom. Ronald Reagan, after all, was once Governor of California. The list of actors and athletes turned politicians is lengthy- Bill Bradley, Jim Bunning, Fred Gandy, J.C. Watts, Steve Largent, Clint Eastwood, Fred Thompson, Sonny Bono, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. Schwarzenegger is merely the most recent. Now he is just another politician, and for California's sake, I hope he will be true to his word.
