Seriously, I never thought Texas was this much left of center. Are all these liberals in Texas transplants or is there something in the water? Anyway tonight's liberal whiner site is from Texas of course. It gets the liberal agenda right by calling itself The People's Republic of Seabrook. As we all know most liberals are closet communists. This site took forever to load and would lock up weaker computers. Let's go down the list shall we. Compares Bush to a nazi. How original. Displays the US flag upside down. Says General Wesley Clark is in touch with reality. Yeah right. Calls abortion the politically correct term of reproductive rights. I guess unborn children have no rights. And he can't even spell dumbass right. Just another liberal loser. Like I said once The Collection starts it will start in Texas.
How to respond?? Ah, why bother? Clearly, humor and rational banter are lost on this maroon (and, no, I am not now, nor have I ever been a member of the Communist Party- although some of my best friends are a bit Red....). Even though the "author" of this screed is clearly a troll of the First Order, I've decided to link him anyway, for the same reason that cockroaches scatter when you turn on the light.
What this Arbiter of All That Is Good And Righteous fails to grasp is that I simply don't take myself that seriously. Yes, I am a Liberal, but I am also realistic enough to understand that I do not have all the answers. I have some strong opinions; big deal.... While it would be nice to be universally loved by all of my readers, I only wake up next to one of y'all, and her opinion is the one I truly value.
Besides, I don't need to result to name-calling, insults, and denigrating someone's belief in order to validate my own sorry, miserable existence (not that I couldn't do that if the situation called for it....).
