Bush still eating beef despite mad cow scare
Well, now I certainly feel much better....
President George W. Bush is still eating beef, despite a scare over mad cow disease which has prompted more than two dozen countries to ban the US-produced meat.
"He has continued to eat beef, he has eaten beef in the last couple of days," said White House spokesman Scott McClellan when asked how the president had responded to the announcement of the first US case of the disease in a cow on Tuesday.
In fact, he had beef for breakfast, he had beef for lunch, and he'll probably have beef for dinner. McClellan did admit that the President has been foaming at the mouth more than usual over the past couple of days, but doctors do not feel that this is anything to be alarmed over.
