Woman Says She Lost Winning Mega Million Ticket: Ticket Yet To Be Claimed
Yeah, right...and I'm the Queen of England....
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- A Cleveland woman filed a police report saying that she dropped her purse outside the store where the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was sold, NewsChannel5.
Elecia Battle said she grabbed up her belongings after dropping her purse but didn't realize the ticket was missing until after the winning numbers were picked.
After the final tally, officials said the ticket is worth $162 million and a one-time cash payment of $95 million.
The numbers are significant in her life, WEWS reported.
12-18 is her son's birthday. 32 is her other son's birthday reversed. 36 is year her sister was born. 49 is her husband's age. 21 was picked for luck.
The winning numbers were: 12, 18, 21, 32 and 46. The Mega Ball number was 49.
Battle was unable to be reached for comment. She was reportedly crying when filing the police report on Friday.
Although officials believe the woman, they can't do much about the missing ticket.
Meanwhile, lottery officials said the ticket can be redeemed until June 27. If the money is claimed, the money will go back in the Mega Millions jackpot total.
Actually, 21 was chosen for the number of times she slapped herself in the forehead for being such a DUMB@$$. This is why a lottery ticket is called a "bearer instrument", y'all.
If anyone needs me, I'll be in Cleveland, looking for that &%@# lottery ticket....
