Well, at least he didn't have to declare anything

Nude Man Shows Up At Airport Security Checkpoint: Screeners Corner Streaker Near Beignet Shop Until Police Arrive

Anyone who has flown since 9.11 has struggled with the question of how to make your trip through security as easy, quick, and painless as possible. It looks as if Kent Hoffman has licked this problem. Perhaps he was just getting a head start on the strip search?

KENNER, La. -- There was little need to search 34-year-old Kent Hoffmann when he approached a security checkpoint Tuesday at Louis Armstrong International Airport.

Officials said the man arrived at Concourse C just before 5 a.m. completely naked.

U.S. Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Andrea McCauley said a nude Hoffmann ran back into the terminal and was cornered near a beignet shop, where screeners covered him with a sign until Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies arrived to arrest him.

They booked him with obscenity.

Because of the time of day, the strip show was seen by few people aside from a pair of security screeners and a handful of passengers waiting for early morning flights.

Airport spokeswoman Michelle Duffourc said Hoffman was the airport's first streaker, and she hopes he's the last.

Hey, if you think about it- and I am trying NOT to- this really starts to make sense. After all, if you're naked, it's not as if you're going to be able to easily conceal a bomb or a weapon. Even if you are, is anyone REALLY going to want to look there? I'm thinking probably not. Uh, no; you can keep that...really....
