Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

'Trivial matter' led to killing, police say: Katy men arrested on murder charges

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener(s) #76: Shaun Crump and Michael Martinez

People kill for any number of reason: robbery, to settle a score, to protect one's or one's family's honor. To this incomplete list, we can now add yet another reason: protecting one's digital camera. Yes, you read that correctly. DUMB@$$E$ Crump and Martinez (yes, when you look in the dictionary under "DUMB@$$", you WILL see their pictures in the definition) shot an 18-year-old because they thought she had stolen a digital camera.

RICHMOND -- A Katy woman was killed in a Fort Bend County field because her assailants believed she had stolen a digital camera from them, investigators said Wednesday.

However, after Victoria Carol Foutz, 18, was killed with a shotgun blast to the face, police believe the suspects, Shaun C. Crump and Michael Gabriel Martinez, found the missing camera in their van.

"You'll find that most killings are senseless. But this one was over a very trivial matter," Fort Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright said Wednesday.

Crump, 22, and Martinez, 24, both of the 5500 block of Katy-Hockley Road, were arrested early Wednesday and charged with murder. They were in the county jail with bail set at $150,000 for each of them.

Foutz's body was found about 6:45 a.m. March 18 lying face up in a plowed field just off Vincik-Elhert Road near FM 360 south of Beasley.

Wright said the suspects admitted driving Foutz to the field between 3:30 and 4 a.m., where Martinez held her down and then Crump shot her.

Foutz was an acquaintance of Crump and Martinez, and the men picked her up late on the night of March 17 in a van belonging to a friend, police said.

Wright said the suspects accused Foutz of stealing a $300 camera and that a dispute broke out.

The men drove her to the field where Foutz was killed, Wright said.

After the shooting, the alleged assailants were cleaning out the van and discovered the missing camera, police said.

Wright said Crump and Martinez drove back to their Katy home, where they buried the shotgun. Police have recovered it.

OOOPPS!! Our bad....

Congratulations, guys. You have not only ruined your own miserable, pointless lives, but you have succeeded in taking a young woman from her friends and family. May you have long, illustrious, and horribly painful careers in the Texas prison system as someone's b***h.

If there is any justice for Ms. Foutz, both Crump and Martinez will lead miserable lives marked by intense pain and suffering, which will cause them to beg for the sweet release of death. Karma can be a real b***h, eh?
