Web site calling for education secretary's dismissal
Just to prove that Liberals can work themselves into paroxysms of righteous indignation, a new web site is demanding the resignation of Education Secretary Rodney Paige. How long until Right-Wing talk radio goons begin decrying this effort as the work of clueless, mean-spirited Liberals? Somehow, I don't think we'll be waiting long.
If Paige were a Liberal Democrat, I doubt we'd be able to hear ourselves think but for the weeping and gnashing of teeth emanating from the Right. Somehow, though, since Paige is a Republican, it's OK to refer to a teacher's union as a "terrorist organization". Hmm...a double standard? Or merely a cherished Republican value?
