Is anyone else enjoying this as much as I am?

How bad are the Yankees?

I should begin by saying that I really don't hate the Yankees. Really. In fact, I admire then in much the same way I admire the Montreal Canadiens or the LA Lakers. Excellence, particularly a long history of it, is difficult for me to soft-peddle.

What I AM enjoying is watch a $182 million payroll play like...well, like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Perhaps they'll snap out of it. They're 9-11, but it IS only April, after all. Even so, it must have been disheartening to Yankees fans to see their beloved Bronx Bombers get swept by the evil, bloodsucking Red Sox- in Yankee Stadium. **snicker**

Who knows? October may still find the Yankees in the World Series again. Of course, that assumes that their sorry excuse for a pitching staff can hold up long enough for their offense to eek out a bunch of 12-10 wins. For right now, though, I'm going to enjoy watching the Yankees and their high-priced talent squirm. This cannot be doing George Steinbrenner's hemrrhoids any good.

Go Twins!!
