Too bad this didn't happen nine hours earlier as Kim was rolling through town

Red Cross: N. Korea site flattened

18 Hours after the Explosion

The satellite picture on the left, of Yongcheon Station at Yongcheon county of North Pyongan province, was taken on May 13 last year, before yesterday’s explosion. Many apartment complexes and houses were densely located around the major street in front of the station. The picture on the right, which was taken 18 hours after the explosion, shows black smoke all around the station and indicates that fire is continuing to burn.

So China's official Xinhua News Agency is stating that 154 people died in the explosion? Given the degree of damage and devastation that has been described, if "only" 154 people died, it should qualify as something of a minor miracle. I don't know that the world will ever know the full story. As if living under the world's most repressive government isn't bad enough, that same government cannot even begin to effective respond to a disaster of this magnitude. With North Korea's health care system being something of an oxymoron, I wonder how many people will die from neglect and poor treatment?
