Cool commander: Brenham's little creamery gets new leader in low-key switch
You know, Brenham may be a sleepy little town in the middle of Washington County to some. To most Texans, though, Brenham is the center of the universe- especially if you've just run out of Pralines & Cream ice cream. Hey, don't be messing with my Blue Bell, y'all. You won't like the results. Thankfully, it looks as if Blue Bell won't be messing with itself either, even though the company is getting a new CEO. It's still a family matter, though.
I was first introduced to Blue Bell ice cream when I moved down here almost seven years ago. Much to the dismay of my waistline, it's been a torrid love affair ever since. Every now and then, I will get it into my head that I might be better off if there is no Blue Bell in the freezer. I'll go a day, perhaps two, and that's just about as much as I can take.
Look, sex and hockey aside, if there is anything better in this world than Blue Bell's Pralines & Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip, or Chocolate Chip, I certainly can't imagine what it could be.
