Mexican-made uniforms rile Border Patrol
You'd think that the US Border Patrol would have more to worry about- like doing their jobs, f'rinstance....
PHOENIX -- Some agents for the U.S. Border Patrol are irate at what they see in their new uniforms: a "Made in Mexico" label.
"I just received a half-dozen new shirts, pants -- and the labels all say they are made in Mexico," said Rich Pierce, a Tampa-based agent and executive vice president of the 16,000-member National Border Patrol Council, the agents' union.
"Why can't we have uniforms made in the U.S.? The other agents I've talked to all think this is some bad joke."
Oh, right; Mexicans are simply people that you keep from crossing the Rio Grande in the middle of the night. Apparenty when Agent Pierce thinks about Mexicans, he thinks about illegal aliens who want to sneak into our country.
I wonder if Agent Pierce realized that he might be a candidate for a DUMB@$$ AWARD if he opened his mouth. Obviously not. Congratulations, Agent Pierce; you're a wiener!!
