Yeah, he wasn't kidding. The pictures are graphic, they're disgusting, and from where I sit posting them serves no useful purpose that I can see. For reasons that I cannot begin to understand, Matt Drudge has decided to post pictures of the decapitated body of Paul Johnson on the Drudge Report. Included in the three pictures is one showing Johnson's severed head resting on his lifeless torso.
How Drudge can possibly argue that these photos are newsworthy is beyond me. Out of simple respect for Johnson's family, you'd think that Drudge would have the decency to refrain posting pictures that will only cause immense pain to those who knew and loved Paul Johnson. Right? Then again, this thoughtless is exactly why Matt Drudge is our latest DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener.
Nice work, DUMB@$$. May you have the tables turned on you someday so you can feel the pain.
(UPDATE: Michele informs me that Drudge originally posted the photos on his home page. No warning, no disclaimer, no nada. What kind of heartless jackass could sink this low? Oh, right; that would be Matt Drudge. What a shock....)
