Hospital faces suit: Former Denver Health patient says paramedics violated his civil rights
He was surfing the 'Net one day, when there it was, plain as day- "Wait a minute...THAT'S MY WIENER!!!"
A 35-year-old former mortgage broker who was treated at Denver Health Medical Center is suing the hospital because paramedics took a picture of his genitals for their amusement, he said Tuesday.
Gregory Bradford said his ordeal began when he was attacked outside a bar in Denver early on Feb. 16, 2003. His skull cracked, he was taken by paramedics to the Denver Health emergency room, unconscious and delusional.
According to a police report Bradford filed Aug. 19, a hospital employee pushed Bradford's blanket aside that morning and photographed Bradford's genitals with Bradford's digital camera.
Bradford found the photo on his camera a couple of weeks later later while he was recovering from brain surgery with his family in Arkansas.
"I was mortified," he wrote in the police report. And, he wondered, "what else did they do?"
Who knows? If you wait, though, you'll probably find the answer somewhere on the Internet before too much longer.
