Farm cats waiting for the food to hit the deck

I wish our two did that! Misty & Toddy have their heads in the bowl as soon as we pick up a tin of cat food ..lol..

I'm waiting for the day when mine figure out how to use the can opener.

They are cute, cute, cute, but I hope they poop outside as there is no litter box in the world that won't stink like a rendering plant with that many cats.

We partially supported a couple dozen cats on the farm when I was young, feeding them only a couple of times a week to keep their attention on the rats that lived in the barn.

Sometimes, the clan of cats was joined by a skunk when we feed them. The cats didn't seem to mind (much) or perhaps they were endowed with the common sense that says it's best not to offend a skunk at the dinner table.
