Freedom of speech...unless you're a Democrat

I would say that qualifies as an assault, unless the local prosecutor doesn't accept complaints filed by Democrats.

Actually, the story I've herd regarding this is that the Dem in question had just spit on the woman in the picture, and the hand over the mouth was her way of preventing a second assault on her person.

Meanwhile, back in Minnesota, at the state fair:

Union Thugs Attack College Republicans

So what's the big deal, you might say -- That's what union thugs do! And so it is true, but the provocation in this instance is clever to say the least. The young republicans are dressed as a pair of flip-flops.

So if this angered the union guys to the point of assault, I guess they must realize that the flip-flop shoe fits their candidate very well.
