Hey, where are the other 12??? When I arrived at my brother's house on Saturday morning, I was immediately surrounded by 15 cats, and there were two others who would make an appearance later. Yes, I was definitely in my element....

Seventeen ... to how many resident humans?
There are six people who live there all together. These are all farm cats, and the population tends to fluctuate wildly. They've had as many as 30 cats there.
When I arrived on Saturday morning, most of the local four-legged denizens (including 2 of their 3 dogs) were sunning themselves on the deck of the farmhouse. It was quite a sight, especially when they all gravitated towards me.
