They haven't stopped wearing sandals and socks. It has to be the ugliest fashion thing I have ever seen. Let's not be mistaken, they don't wear them together with long pants, so that it wouldn't be so visible. Shorts will do it...
These days you can see many creatures in T-shirts, shorts, total-opposite-of-matching socks and sandals. A man I saw today had beige shorts, dark blue socks and cheap leather sandals. He was carrying a Samsonite briefcase and talking on a cellphone.
