Yeah, Houston is big, and yeah, it’s ugly, and yeah, it really IS a fairly unattractive place. Of course, take away the heat, the humidity, the smog, and the traffic, and Houston may not be Paradise, but you can almost see it from here. (Shh…if we we make it sound too attractive, everyone will want to move here, and traffic will become even MORE unbearable…as if that were possible….)
Our beloved Chronk takes a valiant stab at promoting Spaced City. Like anyplace, I suppose, if you look, you’ll find little gems. It just depends on where your interest lies. Whether it’s restaurants, museums, massage parlors, golf courses, or gentleman’s clubs, Houston is big enough to have something for everyone. Assuming, of course, that you can ignore the heat, the humidity, the smog, and the traffic. Then again, that’s why I don’t live in Houston. Seabrook is about as close as I generally care to venture. Like I said, it’s the heat, the humidity, the smog, and the traffic.
