Record crowds for Burning Man festival
No, it wasn't the Republican Convention, but except for the absence of CNN and Fox News, the differences weren't readily obvious. Costumed revelers, hypnotic drums, scantily-clad women, people behaving in ways they never would at home.... Hmm, what would Zell Miller think?
Of course, come to think of it, Republicans need to blow off steam, too, eh? Did anyone think to canvass the crowd in search of well-fed white men in dark suits and white shirts?
