My thoughts this weekend are with all of my readers in Florida. A week ago, I was still in Miami. I'd like to say that I miss it, but no one who knows me will buy it.
After barely missing and then seeing the death and devastation caused by Hurricane Charley on Friday the 13th (STILL don't believe it's an unlucky day??), I am more than grateful to be on the other side of the Gulf of Mexico- not that something couldn't happen in our little stretch of Paradise. Hurricane season, after all, generally runs through the end of October.
