The next couple of days will find this space rather quiet. Due to the unfortunate demise of the power source for my Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop, the Source of All Wisdom and Knowledge is without a pulse. If anyone in the Clear Lake area has a spare one or knows where I can find one, I would be forever in your debt.
In the meantime, I’m reduced to swiping whichever computer happens to be available. Until I can get a replacement, things will be a bit quiet ‘round these parts.

try a google search for your Dell Inspiron 2650. then in the results search for "power source."
There's a recall on many models. If yours is one, you may get some help from Dell ... alas, probably not for free ...
