We are at war with Eurasia. We have ALWAYS been at war with Eurasia....

Bush Campaign or “Animal Farm”?

Bill Shein gives us a blow-by-blow comparison of George W. Bush’s campaign and Orwell’s classic recitation of the realities of a totalitarian state. Some of my more Conservative readers might fail to see the point, but I think it says something that our Prevaricator-in-Chief and nominal Leader of the FREE World has so much in common with a representation of a totalitarian dictatorship.

We are STILL at war with Eurasia….

Eurasia? That's from Orwell's 1984, I think....not Animal Farm. But I think the US and the Uk are experiencing both books at once at the moment. For Ministry of Love, read Guantanamo Bay/Bellmarsh.

You're right, of course, about the source, but it's still Orwell.... ;0)
