At least it won't be a repeat of 2000

It’s official. The word has come out that Senator John Kerry will be giving what is being termed a concession speech at noon CST. He apparently has already called Bush to offer his congratulations. If this it true, I applaud him for considering his options and realizing that he has little if anything to gain by prolonging what appears to be inevitable. No one on the Left can pretend to be happy about this turn of events, but the People have spoken. A wise man once told me that if you piss into the wind, there are only two results that can be guaranteed: you’re going to get wet, and you’ll end up smelling badly. The time has come to face reality and determine how to continue the Good Fight over the next four years.

George W. Bush is now promising to reach out to Democrats? Give me a @!#$%*& break. Yes, he may have won this election, but does that mean he has to insult our intelligence? If he hasn’t bothered to reach out to Democrats over the past four years, are we now to believe that he has suddenly seen the blinding white light of bipartisanship? Yeah, right….
