Ah, yes, ‘tis a good time to own stock in defense contractors or those who manufacture body bags. It’s a good time to be in the business of manufacturing death or dealing with the aftermath, because the miserable failure that is the war in Vietnam, er, Iraq, has certainly turned into a major cause of death for young Americans.

For those of you devoid of a conscience, or who vote Republican (and really, isn’t that about the same thing?), you might want to hang onto that Halliburton stock. You might just be able to send your kids to Harvard or Yale after all.

For those of you who DO possess a functional conscience, here are 10 companies you’ll likely want to avoid. WE DESERVE BETTER.
